Who is Nette? by Nette
When she's not typing her emotional and subjective opinions into her 'puter,
Nette is generally found stomping around her home pondering sexism in
the
jazz music industry while breastfeeding her angelic infant son
and pestering her drummer husband with her bright ideas. This activity increases proportionally
during the winter when there is too much snow for anyone to escape.
She's got a
record label and makes
compact discs. She studied film in uniperversity and makes
internet films. She collaborates with IMHO publisher Rascal and makes subversive feminist
hypertext
art. If it is cutting-edge, new, revolutionary and (nearly) impossible to earn any income,
BOOM! she's there! ready to
experiment and continue on her starving artist way.
Her tendencies towards frugal living include
schemes such as affiliate accounts at online stores to save money, something Rascal took seriously and
turned into this ongoing, fabulous, e-zine. Aren't you lucky?
